Responsible clothing
We believe that with our consumer choices we can change a lot.
Our goal is to reduce the environmental footprint of clothing and to strengthen the Greek economy.
Our vision is responsible clothing.
What does responsible clothing mean?
Quality:
It is made of 100% cotton with a content of 210gr/m2 (30% greater content than the commercial average),
– Durability over time
– Does not lose its shape during washing
– We contribute to the reduction of textile waste

Local production:
To reduce the environmental footprint of our Polo, and to strengthen the Greek economy, we chose to:
– We supply exclusively Greek Raw Materials (cotton, buttons, labels, etc.)
– Produced in Greece

Correct value:
Decent pay for our suppliers,
Affordable price for our consumers.

The production cost of a Polo
In total it costs $3.46 to produce a Polo in Bangladesh, $3.93 in China and $3.06 in Ethiopia (Source: “Global Polo Shirt Market Research Report, 2018-2028” via Dataintelo).
If produced in Bangladesh, workers will be paid only $0.54 per shirt and materials will cost $2.40 (Source: The Daily Star; Star Business Report; Fri April 2, 2019).
This is why the biggest brands produce in Asia:
– Hu## Bo##, Ral## Laur## : Made in Vietnam
– Nauti## : Made in India
– Lacos## : Made in China
The final selling price (~90 euros) includes transport, Marketing and of course the profit...
So by buying a branded Polo, you are buying a brand's marketing and often dubious ethical practices.
For us, Responsible Clothing means:
– quality and Greek raw material,
– decently paid people,
– smaller environmental footprint: a shirt that doesn't travel halfway around the world and stands the test of time.
We are proud to have made it affordable for our customers!
Where is our Polo manufactured?
